Alpacas aren´t our whole life, they just make our life whole!
Our Alpaca Story
When we discovered these endearing animals (camilids) by initially purchasing two Guanaco as pets which in turn led us looking at the Alpaca. From day one the Alpaca captured our hearts and have now become very much a full time occupation, but what a joy now it is to go to work every day. We would love to share our joy with you whether you are experienced or new to Alpacas.
Our Location
Brookfield Farm is situated in the North Yorkshire Moors National Park approximately 15 miles from Guisborough, Whitby and Helmsley close to the Danby Moors Centre. We are about one hour drive south of Newcastle or one hour drive north of Leeds.
Our Purpose
Whilst we welcome all colours on our farm we have chosen to specialise within two groups of Alpaca, the Black Huacaya and the White Suri Alpaca. Specialising in the two groups enables us to concentrate on breeding with the very best of genetics that are available; we work very close with other top UK breeders to achieve our goals. Whilst we appreciate the need to occasionally seek the best genetics the world can offer, principally we look towards the best of British as it is known fact that here in the UK there is a pool of excellent proven genetics.
Whether you are looking for Alpaca pets or the very best of breeding stock, perhaps just to see an Alpaca come and see us you are welcome at our farm or give us a call and lets ‘talk Alpaca’.
